Membership Terms

  • Members must support the aims of the company as set out in SEWBReC’s Memorandum and Articles of Association (which can be viewed online <a href="https://www.sewbrec.org.uk/upload/library/SEWBReC_Arts_&_Mems_v5.3_(2019).pdf" target="blank">here</a> or can be requested via info@sewbrec.org.uk). here or can be requested via info@sewbrec.org.uk).
  • Members accept a liability not exceeding £1 if the Company should be wound up whilst they are a Member, or within one year after they cease to be a Member.
  • Applications for membership will be considered for approval at the next quarterly meeting of the SEWBReC Board of Directors after they have been received by the Company Secretary.
  • Membership will expire five years after the date of acceptance as a Member. All Members will be reminded of the option to re-apply during their fifth year of membership.
