SEWBReC Recording Grant

 

Apply for a SEWBReC grant to help support your wildlife recording in south east Wales*. Small grants (up to a maximum of £500) are available for:

  • Field/lab equipment
  • Travel expenses
  • Identification guides
  • Software
  • Attending courses
  • Running courses & workshops
  • Promotional material
  • Atlas & checklist publication

* “south east Wales” includes: Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil, Caerphilly, Vale of Glamorgan, Cardiff, Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen, Newport and Monmouthshire.

 

Who can apply?

The SEWBReC Recording Grant is aimed primarily at funding:

1. Opportunities for existing recorders to enhance their recording efforts;

2. Group projects with the potential to reach a number of new recorders.

What happens after my application is submitted?

A group comprising of representation from SEWBReC’s Staff and Board of Directors will consider applications as and when they are received.  We aim to let applicants know if they have been successful within 6 weeks of applying. Unsuccessful applicants will receive feedback.
